Hydroponics System

Hydroponics is a method to grow plants without soil. As demand of food is increasing, we need to find ways to grow vegetables and fruits in whatever way possible.

Why do we need Hydroponics way of irrigation?

Limitation of land ,weather dependence and transportation cost are the factors because of which we should shift our focus from traditional methods to Hydroponic.Further more, we can grow more than one crop in same  bag has great economic benefits. Research done by University of Florida found that this way of irrigation has profitable too.

In the colder part of the world,it is difficult to grow plants in winter because of lack of sunlight and harsh weather conditions. This method can be used to mitigate these cumbersome problems.

Advantages:
No need of Pesticide and Insecticides
No Soil Required
Crops are easily to transfer
More plants per unit area.
Water stays in the system and reusable.

Electronics and Engineering Projects

Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism.

This post is a extended part of posts I have written before on electrical and electronics project ideas.

Feedback Circuits

It is an important concept for electronic circuit designers. You can do lots of project based on feedback concept.Perhaps you can design a circuit(s) that demonstrates how adjusting one part of a circuit causes another part to reflect feedback.

Thermostat is one of the best example of feedback device. A thermostat is a component of a control system which senses the temperature of a system so that the system's temperature is maintained near a desired setpoint. The thermostat does this by switching heating or cooling devices on or off, or regulating the flow of a heat transfer fluid as needed, to maintain the correct temperature.

Line follower Robot

Some of the earliest Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) were line following mobile robots. They might follow a visual line painted or embedded in the floor or ceiling or an electrical wire in the floor. Most of these robots operated a simple "keep the line in the center sensor" algorithm.

This simple robot is designed to be able to follow a black line on the ground without getting off the line too much. The robot has two sensors installed underneath the front part of the body, and two DC motors drive wheels moving forward. A circuit inside takes an input signal from two sensors and controls the speed of wheels’ rotation. The control is done in such a way that when a sensor senses a black line, the motor slows down or even stops. Then the difference of rotation speed makes it possible to make turns. For instance, in the figure on the right, if the sensor somehow senses a black line, the wheel on that side slows down and the robot will make a right turn.
